A drumroll please......

At long last..........................

Your opinion please...............

Be gentle, it took everything I had in me to post these.........................

PINK? Sparkly and fun, no alterations needed, feeds my inner Dolly Parton.

Or....

Brown? Classy, elegant, major alterations needed (I had on 3" heels and it's still long)

(Oh and Andrea...eat your heart out on the cleavage.)

Which one?

You look beautiful. Either choice will be great. I do love the brown. You are one hot mother of the bride!

(i've been lurking and following your wedding timeline! so much fun. my mom and I do wedding flowers and it's been awhile since I had a wedding :) I'm here by way of Celia, who isn't?)

I pick the pink one. It seems most flattering and the MOB needs to feel sparkly on the wedding day. you deserve it. You look happiest in the pink, too!

(I'm proud of you for posting your pics, I don't know if I could do it!)

I like the sleeve detail...cha-cha.

Pink one all the way mama!!!

PINK PINK PINK. You look gorgeous. Great job posting these. Keep the brown because it looks good too and a girl can't have too many dresses. Are you going to do the pink tea length so we can see your shoes, or leave it long and elegant? The pink will look better in the pictures too.

I love that Jeff weighed in.

Both are great - I am with Paige. Do pink, but keep the brown. You'll have a party to go to and will be all ready for it. Yay! You are going to look beautiful.

I love them both!! The pink really shows off the tan & the brown is a beautiful color on you.
You can't go wrong on this one!!

I say go with the pink. It's a beautiful color on you, elegant, and needs no altering.

You look absolutely stunning. And at the risk of embarrassing your children who read this, might I say....if you wear that dress, I have a feeling the bride and groom won't be the only ones getting lucky on Aug. 2nd!!!! You are a beauty!

Pink!

It looks great and needs no alterations!

That brown is so great, too but...for the wedding I say embrace your inner Dolly :)

That picture of Skylar on your sidebar is hilarious!

They both really do look great. I like the sparkely one best, too.

I'd say the brown one unless the pink one is a darker pink than it looks. You don't want it to be too light so it matches the bride. Know what I mean? Keep both though for sure. You look gorgeous!

I like the brown-- the color looks GREAT on you, and it is simple.

But simple is MY taste, so if you like the pink- go for it! :)

pink for sure! it looks great! the brown looks nice too!

I'm of the same opinion as Holly... you don't want the color of your dress to be too close to the bride's. I think they both look great though.

Which one do you feel most comfortable in?

I personally like the brown. It will look great in pictures next to the bride in white and has no danger washing you out.

Plus, some cleavage is always a nice touch. I'm always a fan of v-necks. If you got it, flaunt it (in a nice modest-ish sort of way...).

I like the brown one. Of course, that's my favorite color, so I may be biased in my opinion. :0)

I like brown with some bling.

Gorgeous!

You look HOT in both, I love the pink just a bit more, it looks more like you. I wish had even half your cleavage. Thank goodness for the Wonderbra, it does do wonders. Gorgeous, gorgeous on you.

PINK! Looks great on you and you seem to glow in it.

Ooooo tough decision! I kept scrolling up and down, up and down, comparing the two dresses. I love them both! I love the elegance and sparkle of the pink dress and I love how the brown dress hangs on you and the color. You can dress up the brown dress with a lovely piece of sparkly jewelery.

I'm leaning towards the brown dress. They always say to wear dark colors when you are photographed.

Which dress makes you want to strut your stuff? Go with that one! Can't go wrong if you feel like a diva in the dress you choose to wear!

Personally I like the Brown Dress the best. It's simply elegant and if you think about what Rachel's girls are wearing (pink with a bit of brown) and the bridesmaids (pink with a bit of brown), and the bride (in white), I think the brown dress will be the nicest complement with great contrast. I'm thinking like a quilter now. Definitely, I'd pick the brown. What's Byron wearing and the other men in the wedding party? I don't think I ever heard.

I think I like the brown made a little shorter! Pink is gorgeous too though. Pick the one YOU like best and feel better in! I wish I could see them in person, pictures never do dresses justice.

The fact that people keep saying different dresses means they both look good! So you can't go wrong. I am in the camp with Ilene on the brown and it not washing you out next to the bride. But, the pink one is very nice too! ☺

The Brown--you look so tan and gorgeous in it. No washing out either. Hems are easy enough:)

I thought the pink looked really close to white. If it were a more saturated pink...

Lauren said...

i like them both. I think the pink one might be too light though. If the brown one was shorter it would be perfect [like right below your knees]

Lehis said...

I say pink. But I say if your going to sparkle... sparkle BIG! Welcome me as a new blogger... I've been sucked in!!

hmm. i love how the brown dress gives you some color. the white dress is slightly funkier. as in spunky-funky, not stank-funky.
i like them both. the brown one seems to wear better. i guess i vote for brown.

and i don't think you can say "eat your heart out ON my cleavage" because it sounds semi-lesbo-esque. but, hey, great hooters.

martyrudd said...

OK, Jeni....if you total all the votes, count this comment as 3 votes for the brown dress as Tisha, Anie and I all vote for it. Both dresses are gorgious, but the brown one is the most flattering and we feel the pink one is too close to being white, like Lauren will be wearing.

Brigitta said...

Either would be great. I think the pink looks very fun and shiny, which is good at weddings. Looking forward to seeing the event. Also pick the one you feel most comfortable in, especially since you will be in it all evening.

Wow gal! You look Great! What a hard choice to make! The pink one looks really happy, joyful and serene! The brown is elegant and strong. I don't think you can go wrong, maybe it will depend on how dressy and youthful you feel - pink or mature and sophisticated - brown, you all are going to have such fun!

I'm back to see what others said and everyone said a lot! I love that the results are half and half- and I didn't think of matching the bride- the horror! although the colors will be more true through the photogs lens than yours- Go with what you like best for sure- You can wear the other when you chaperone prom! I love them both.

queenieweenie said...

Brown definitely! You look beautiful in both though!

I am a huge fan of the sparkles in the pink one!! However, might be too flashy? The brown is very nice and is a great color on you!

Can't you wear both? They are stunning and I think you should try and wear both of them!
